Help on Latex

• To trigger an update of the .sty data-base:

sudo texhash

• Sometimes, as when you have a bunch of eps instead of pdfs, you can't use pdflatex. Yuo can convert them using epstopdf or eps2pdf, but another solution is doing:

latex myfile.tex
dvipdfm myfile.dvi

Instead of:

pdflatex myfile.tex

To extract bounding boxes:

ebb -v file.jpg
